  • Outlet analysis:

We can document true RMS voltage, voltage drop under 12, 15, 20-amp load, line voltage, peak voltage, frequency, ground impedance, and more.  Problems in these areas can lead to personal shock hazards, electrical fires, or equipment performance issues.  Personal shock hazards stem from poor grounding, false grounds, and/or no ground fault protection.  Electrical fires are primarily caused from arc faults and high resistance points that lead to glowing connections in the circuit wiring.  Equipment performance issues arise due to insufficient voltage available under load, poor ground impedance, and high ground-to-neutral voltage.

  • Inspection Plus:

In addition to the inspection service below, we will document all the equipment in the home (furnace, kitchen appliances, water heater, etc.) to include the name of the manufacturer, model number, serial number, date of manufacturer (if provided), etc. This is a handy resource to refer to if you are notified of recalled equipment, will assist you in tracking maintenance and repairs, will assist you in tracking replacement of the equipment as it ages, and more.

Our home inspection service is a visual inspection of the condition of the systems and components of the home as they exist at the time of the inspection. This typically includes:

  • Foundation & framing (floor, wall & ceiling structure)
  • Exterior, walls, siding, etc...
  • Porches and decks
  • Roofing
  • Attic
  • Electrical system
  • Plumbing system
  • Interior

We perform our inspections in accordance with the Standards of Practice  (ASHI Standards of Practice) of the American Society of Home Inspectors®  (ASHI) and proudly abide by the society's strict Ethical Standards (ASHI Code of Ethics).

We strongly encourage you to accompany the inspector so that you may ask questions and gain a better understanding of the systems in the home.

If you have any questions, or are interested in any other services, please contact us so we may discuss your needs.
